DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
“ON THE STATE COMMITTEE OF PREPARATION FOR THE 1000-YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF YAROSLAVL”
In view of the historical and cultural significance of Yaroslavl and the 1000-year anniversary of the Yaroslavl foundation in 2010 I prescribe the following:
1. To organize State Committee of Preparation and Holding of Yaroslavl 1000-year anniversary celebration.
The chairman of the State Committee is the President of the Russian Federation.
2. The Government of the Russian Federation is:
to approve as suggested by the Government of the Yaroslavl Region of the State Committee regulations on Preparation and Holding of the Yaroslavl 1000-year anniversary celebration and its members;
to adjust its acts in accordance with the present Decree.
3. The present Decree comes into effect since the date of signature.

DECREE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
“ON THE CELEBRATION OF THE 1000-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF YAROSLAVL”
In view of the 1000-year anniversary of Yaroslavl foundation in 2010 I prescribe the following:
1. To accept the offer of the Administration of the Yaroslavl Region on the celebration in 2010 of the 1000-year anniversary of Yaroslavl.
2. The Government of the Russian Federation to approve the following as advised by the Administration of the Yaroslavl Region:
- membership of the Organization Committee in Preparation and Holding of the Yaroslavl 1000-year anniversary celebration;
- plan of main events connected with preparation and holding of the Yaroslavl 1000-year anniversary celebration, with list of objects to be constructed and reconstructed, and volume and sources of finance.
3. Recommend executive authorities of the Russian Federation subjects and local authorities to participate in the Yaroslavl 1000-year anniversary celebration.
4. The present decree comes into effect since the day of its signing.
